Our honey is harvested by removing frames from the hive that are filled with honeycomb that are surplus or that cannot be salvaged from recoveries. The honey is then extracted from the wax comb using a centrifuge or smash and strain technique, the honey is which then screened and bottled.
The color and flavor of honey is dependent on the type of flower nectar that the bees collect. Generally, lighter honey comes from flowers with lighter nectar and darker honey comes from flowers with darker nectar.
Raw Honey has an indefinite shelf life if stored properly.
Please store it in a cool, dry place. It may crystallize over time, but this is normal and can be easily remedied by gently warming the honey.
Swarms are humanly gathered and relocated 10-15 miles away to a safe more desirable habitat area.
Established hives are humanly gathered relocated to our wildflower bee sanctuary where they are given all the desired resources they would want to live out a happy life!
